SANS 780:2019 - Distribution Transformers
For distribution transformers (up to 3 150 kVA, Um ≤ 36 kV), we align with SANS 780:2019, which references SANS 60076-1 and specifies additional South African requirements such as impedance ranges, bushing creepage distances (e.g., 31 mm/kV for porcelain/composite), tapping arrangements, and loss limits for energy efficiency.
